"Volunteering is the caviar
that goes with the champagne."
Your membership in the Enological Society is much
more than a card in your wallet. It's an open door to opportunities
to share your interest in wines with lots of new and interesting
people.
Committee and wine event jobs are always fun and
available. Here are the people to contact.
Serving on the board of directors is another rewarding option. Ask
the current officers and
directors about their experiences.
We also have several specific jobs that are small
and easy to do, but very important and needed urgently.

Program Committee Monthly Volunteers
Make new friends and share the fun by joining the wine-pouring,
food-serving, kitchen-helping team at program events. Our volunteer
coordinator, Bev Stieglitz,
will offer you a choice of months to help out.
Want to make this a better organization?
Make a huge contribution to the Society
by contacting members who recently let their membership expire to
find out what motivated their decision. Compile results and offer
recommendations to improve membership experience, as well as take
the lead on any efforts to target recently lapsed members for renewal.
Work with Chair on implementation of findings, as appropriate. Expect
3 to 6 hours a month.
If you are interested in any of these volunteer
activities, please contact Shawn
Springer, President.
Invest in Yourself
Membership is an investment. Get full value from
your investment by sharing your skills and efforts with other members.
